Nash Cup holders Napier Old Boys Marist had to come from behind to record their 36th consecutive win in Hawke's Bay's premier club rugby competition today.
After trailing 25-21 with 15 minutes remaining superior composure during the final 10 minutes proved the difference in NOBM's 35-25 win against Napier Technical at
Whitmore Park.
From today's round in HB's Tui Nash Cup premier club rugby competition:
Taradale 30 (D McIntyre, K Hewitt, N Ramsay, N Martin, E Tareha tries; McIntyre con, pen), Napier Pirate Rugby and Sports 8 (T Symes try; Z Clarke pen). HT: 15-3.
Napier Old Boys Marist 35 (J Lauano, M Buckley, E Gerrard, P Bickle, E Wilson tries; L Edwards 5 cons), Napier Technical 25 (J Taulagi, T Walters, J Saufoi tries; Taulagi 2 cons, 2 pens ). HT: Tech 17-14.
