Rolled van stalls traffic in Napier

Motorists were delayed briefly on Saturday afternoon in Napier after a light van rolled on Brookfields Rd, near Meeanee.

Senior Sergeant Nick Dobson said the vehicle, belonging to Mini Movers, rolled in the middle of the road about 2.45pm and needed to be towed away.

Police were called to the scene but no major injuries were reported.

The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, Mr Dobson said.
