Almost 4000 homes in the Napier area were without power in what Unison the lines company called an 'unplanned' outage on Saturday night.
At 10:59pm residents in Tamatea, Tutira, Mokamoka Rd and Tangoio were without power but this was restored to people in the area by 11:35pm Saturday night.
