A blue-eyed man is being sought by police for alleged up-skirt filming of teenage girls.
Police are seeking a man for allegedly filming up the skirts of teenage girls in Napier.
Detective Sergeant Heath Jones said the girls were believed to be filmed as they were walking along Shakespeare Rd and onto Browning St on Thursday, August 24 at about 3.30pm.
The man was describedas European in his late 30's early 40's, medium build with distinctive blue eyes.
Police have spoken to victims and an inquiry is underway.
"This is disturbing behaviour and we need people to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity like this," Mr Jones said.
"This is a very concerning incident where a male has brazenly filmed the girls in a very public place and police are concerned by this type of offending."
Napier mayor Bill Dalton condemned the behaviour and said he hoped the man was caught and put away.
"The man is clearly sick, it is sick behaviour and I hope he gets the treatment he needs."
