A person has been found dead following a house fire in Napier.
Emergency services were called to Main North Rd in Bay View at 5am.
Police confirmed that one person was found dead at the scene.
“Inquiries into the circumstances of the fire are ongoing, and the formal identificationprocess is underway,” police said.
