Police are investigating the third aggravated Napier robbery in three weeks.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Kemsley said the latest was at a commercial premises on Charles Street, Westshore, to which police were called about 4.40pm on Monday.

He said two people entered the premises and stole a number of items before fleeing in a vehicle driven by a third person.

No injuries were reported, but the owner of the premises was “understandably shaken” by the events.

The vehicle was later located abandoned on Alexander Ave, Onekawa, and has been seized for a forensic examination.
