A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Napier, Hawke's Bay, last night.
A man in his 40s has died following the crash on Meeanee Road about 10.30pm.
Police say the road was closed for a number of hours as the Serious Crash Unit examined the scene,
however it has now reopened.
