Police have confirmed one person is deceased after a two-car collision in Central Hawke's Bay.
It happened near the intersection of Plantation Road and Ongaonga Road around 8am today.
A second person has been taken to Hastings Hospital by ambulance with serious abdominal injuries.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is in
