One person has died and two others are injured after a crash near Wairoa tonight.

Police were alerted to a report that a car had rolled along Awamate Rd between Huramua Rd East and Bell Rd in Frasertown just after 7.30pm.

One person has died and two others are injured, however their conditions were not yet known.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash and the Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
