Breakfast meeting

The Dannevirke Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast meeting tomorrow morning at the Services and Citizens Club at 7am. The event is open to everyone, with the chance to hear from New Zealand First deputy leader Ron Mark. Chamber members $10, non members $20, RSVP to dvkechamber@gmail.com

Ormondville toilets

Work has begun on the pipe work for the new toilet block at Ormondville's historic Church of the Epiphany. The pipes are now connected to the septic tank and when the weather improves work will begin on the construction of the building. The toilets will also be available to the public, because there are no public toilets in Ormondville, says church official Tom Castles. And although money has been donated for the project, Mr Castles said the church hoped more money will roll in. People can donate by contacting Mr Castles or Shane Story.
