Jamie Curry posted the comments on her YouTube channel.

At the beginning of the week, YouTube sensation Jamie Curry broke five months of silence by sharing a heartfelt, raw video where she came out to her fans and announced her engagement.

After explaining her absence and the personal issues she had been grappling with, the 21-year-old from Napier shared that during her time away she had become engaged to a woman, having fallen in love for the first time.

Since sharing the video fans of Curry, known for her down to earth, slapstick pranks, have praised her for her bravery. And Curry has responded with a sweet photo of herself and a woman who, while not officially identified as such, has been acknowledged by fans as Curry's new fiance.

Snapped holding Curry's face as she leans in on her shoulder, the photo has already been liked nearly 50,000 times and received more than 1000 comments.

thank you for all the love x

A post shared by Jamie Curry (@jaamiecurry) on Jun 26, 2018 at 11:10pm PDT

"IS THIS THE LUCKY GAL?? WE'RE HAPPY FOR THE HAPPY JAIME," tweeted a fan.

Over on Instagram a follower posted: "They so happy I'm jealous" while another commented: "Ohh I am so so so happy for you girls!!"

And another wrote: "Omg, you are both so cute together, congratulations!!!"

Curry first found fame in 2012 as a social media star and amassed 1.3 million followers. But she revealed earlier this week she had to take a break: "I just wasn't happy," she said. "I didn't want to be on camera because I didn't feel comfortable with myself."
