What you would do for your electorate if elected: Continue to work very hard for the people, the city and the electorate of Napier. I will always stand up for what I believe is right and champion the issues I think will benefit the people of Napier. This includes fighting against Napier-Hastings amalgamation.

Key issues facing your electorate: Lack of employment opportunities for young and old. Massive increase in the cost of living that is hurting many of our residents, potential loss of Napier Police Station, the urgent need for a proper bus terminal, the loss of night classes, and the $570,000 cut to the Napier Kindergarten association's annual budget.

Key issues facing the country: The lack of a plan (other than selling state assets) to get our wonderful country back on its feet. The 200,000 children living in poverty - the growing "underclass". The alarming gap between the few who are doing very well and the many who are struggling. Labour has a plan to address all these issues; while keeping our state assets.

Message to voters: Voters have a choice: Candidate vote - Stuart Nash. I will continue to work incredibly hard, both here and in Wellington, for the people of the Napier electorate. Party Vote - Labour. For the only party prepared to make the hard decisions in order to grow our economy and create a more caring society.
