Napier Lotto player wins $250,000

One lucky Napier lotto player woke up $250,000 richer on Thursday morning.

The winning ticket was sold at Tamatea Pak N Save.

They were one of three lucky ticket holders who all came away with $250,000 in Lotto's First Division on Wednesday night.

The other winning tickets were sold at a United Video in Blockhouse Bay in Auckland and on MyLotto to a player from Porirua.

A lucky Powerball player from Auckland won the $16 million prize with Powerball First Division.

It comes almost a month after Unichem Stortford Lodge in Hastings sold an $11 million ticket.
