A missing woman believed to be in Hawke's Bay has contacted her family.
Rose Pawson, who was last seen by her family in Hastings in late September, has made contact with her family and police, after police had said they had concerns for her welfare.
A police spokeswoman saidPawson, 32, is "safe and well".
An Eastern District police spokeswoman said: "Thanks to all who shared our post or helped with information."
