Police have also made an arrest in relation to an incident on SH2 Takapau last month where a member of the public was stopped and his windscreen smashed.
On Monday, police said a 35-year-old man will be appearing in Hastings District Court this week charged with dangerous driving, wilful damage and threatening behaviour.
"We have not received any other reports and inquiries are ongoing," police said.
The arrest follows shift workers reporting incidents involving a vehicle apparently trying to force Silver Fern Farms freezing workers to stop driving, late at night on SH2.
Workers had told police that a vehicle had attempted to stop them on SH2 between Takapau and Dannevirke, by "high beaming" its lights.
Last week a worker's wife, who wanted to remain anonymous, said her husband had been stopped at Takapau, and had his vehicle windscreen smashed by one of three men in a vehicle.
Her husband was consequently reluctant to drive at night, or work night shifts. A workmate of her husband reported similar behaviour by another vehicle but he had evaded it.
. Police continue to investigate a similar matter from last week on a different road but at this stage they do not believe that the two incidents are related.
