A man in his 50s remains in a stable condition in Hawke's Bay Hospital after he and another man fell 2 metres from scaffolding at Blackhead Beach.
The 53-year-old man broke his leg and the other, 57, received a minor head injury when they fell while working on a propertyat the beachside settlement about 2.30pm on Monday.
The pair were flown by Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter to Hawke's Bay Hospital. The 57-year-old was treated and discharged.
Paramedics attended and treated the men at the scene.
