Man named in Waipawa crash

Police have named the man who died following a crash on White Road, Waipawa last Sunday, May 28.

He was 62-year-old Glennard Hirini Gotty, of Hastings.

Emergency services were called to White Road at about 6pm after Mr Gotty was said to have crashed into a fence.

Police said their thoughts were with the family and friends of Mr Gotty at this time.

The Serious Crash Unit are conducting inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
