Man in hospital after bull attack

A 68-year-old man is in hospital with chest injuries after being attacked by a large bull near Hastings.

A Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter spokeswoman said the man was airlifted to Hawke's Bay Hospital about 8.30am this morning, after the bull attacked him on a Sherenden farm.

A hospital spokesman said the man was in a stable condition.
