A man died on Sunday evening after a water-related incident at Mahia.
A man has died while diving in Mahia.
Police were called at 9.20pm on Sunday and notified that a man had died earlier in the evening following the incident off Wainuiorangi Rd on the Mahia Peninsula.
A police spokeswoman said the person was found in the water and norescue was involved.
