Mahia was where it was at on New Year's Day

Northern Hawke's Bay New Year's Eve hotspot Mahia was the place to be over the weekend. The real action was on New Year's Day as holidaymakers took to the beach, the surf and other opportunities in the last few days of the Christmas-New Year holiday break. Hawke's Bay Today photographer Paul Taylor found the place was alive with action.
