What one thing will you do each day as mayor? Made with funding from NZ On Air.

Six people want your vote to become mayor of Hastings District.

In the last of four videos questioning the candidates, Local Focus asks "What is one thing that will be important to you every day when you are mayor?"

There were a variety of answers from candidates Bayden Barber, Sandra Hazlehurst, Simon Nixon, Stuart Perry, Allister Tosh and Waitawhara Tupaea.

Postal voting ballots are due in letter boxes in November and if sitting councillors
Bayden Barber, Sandra Hazlehurst or Simon Nixon become mayor, another by-election will be necessary ahead of the normal election cycle in 2009.
