New Zealand is asset-rich in an abundance of water and this has not gone unnoticed in a water-hungry world.
What to me would be a sensible option would be for New Zealand to barter water for oil - 1 litre of water for 1 litre of oil. At the end of the day, we could survive without oil, but no living thing on God's planet can survive without water.
When we have drunk the last water, and eaten the last fish, what then do we do with our money?
This is why I am in total opposition to the sale, partial or otherwise, of any New Zealand asset.
Think on, New Zealand.

Climate creations
It's been brought to my notice that, without any input from the citizenry, our current Government has instituted a Ministry for International Climate Change Negotiations (Minister Tim Groser) and a Ministry for Climate Change Issues (Minister Nick Smith).
One can only assume that these two ministries exist because of a Government belief that something can be done about climate change; thus they are based on the concept of anthropogenic climate change.
So, where then is the Ministry for Holding Back The Tide? Good grief - where our taxes go!
