Firefighters are battling a large blaze at a house in Napier.
Four appliances and an operation support crew are working to suppress flames engulfing a single-story dwelling on Georges Drive.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson says the home was fully involved when crews arrived on scene just before midday.
She says the fire is under control and no one has been hurt.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
