Two people were injured in a crash on Kahuranaki Rd near Havelock North.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 12.50pm on Friday.
Police said the crash was between a car and a truck, with the car ending up on its roof.
Two people were injured in the accident,both drivers of each vehicle, one in a serious condition and the other minor, according to St John but neither faced life threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for Hawke's Bay District Health Board confirmed both patients, a male and a female, were in a stable condition.
