One person has died after a car rolled near Nuhaka, in northern Hawke’s Bay on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash, on the Nuhaka Opoutama Rd near Wai Station Rd in the Wairoa District, at about 8.50am.

A police spokesperson said the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
