The death of a man whose body was found at a Hastings construction site is being treated as unexplained.
The body of the man, who was not an employee at the Omahu Rd site, was found on Wednesday evening.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Karli Whiu said work was underway to
formally identify the man.
Police asked anyone with information to contact 105 and quote the file number 260319/6453.
Information could also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
