About 120 companies will showcase their fashion, giftware, food and wine, crafts and other products at the Women's Lifestyle Expo in Napier.

Goodie bags are filling up in preparation for the Hawke's Bay Women's Lifestyle Expo.

Women of all ages are in for a treat this weekend, with an extensive list of exhibitions and the opportunity to buy an event goodie bag.

NZME general manager and organiser Renee Murray said the team of organisers had been "flat out" packing goodie bags in the lead-up to the event.

The "bargain" bags, valued at $80, will sell for just $29 and include beauty brands such as Moisture Mist and Lipidol.

Shiseido spokesman Jeff Lewis said Shiseido will be partnering with Napier Gees pharmacy to bring a beauty exhibit to the event.

"We'll be selling products, doing makeovers and makeup demonstrations," Mr Lewis said.

Event organiser Ms Murray said she's expecting a turnout of up to 7000 women at the event this weekend.

"You get all generations with a nana, mother and daughter. It's really cool to see," Ms Murray said.

She said the wide range of exhibits will feature "everything and anything that relates to women".

The expo will travel to Hawke's Bay on Thursday and begin setting up at 6.30am at Pettigrew-Green Arena in Taradale on Friday.

Doors open to the public at 10am on Saturday.
