Saturday February 19:
8.30am: Bubbly Breakfast by the Beach. Enjoy the beat of the regimental band of the 7th Battalion RNZIR, bubbly and a buffet breakfast by the beach beside the War Memorial. Tickets $35.
8.30am: Snap, Crackle and Pop, Jazz Breakfast. A hearty breakfast at the Med Bar at the Masonic Hotel
whilst a jazz band sets your toes tapping. Tickets $28.
9am: Ploughman's Display (free event). A display of vintage tractors and farm implements at HB Airport, SH2, Napier.
9am: Par 2 Mini Golf. Don your Art Deco attire for a round of Seaside "Putt-Putting on the Parade" at Par 2 Marine Parade MiniGolf.
9am: Church Garden Party Fete (free event). All the traditional fun of a church fair as St Paul's Presbyterian Church in Tennyson St holds its Art Deco Garden Party Fete in the church grounds.
9.30am: Debonaire Doos - Art Deco Hairstylists. A mobile vintage glamour salon. The Debonaire Doo girls are eager to style your hair. Bookings can be made in advance by contacting Michelle on 021 183 7705. Or look out for the salon on the lawn under the trees in front of the Masonic Hotel.
9.30: Bicycle Belles. A leisurely old bike cycle in your Deco duds on the Rotary Pathway around to the East Pier, where you can enjoy light refreshments before biking back to Marine Parade. Meet at Napier Foreshore behind the Sound Shell. Gold-coin entry.
10am: Childrens' Art Deco Walk (free event). An inter-active walk specially designed for children. Under-10s must be accompanied by an adult. Departs Art Deco Trust, 163 Tennyson St, Napier. Bookings essential.
10am: Royal Doulton High Tea and Bubbles. Mystically themed tearooms where you can enjoy High Tea, or Devonshire Tea. Port o' Call, Nelson Quay, Ahuriri. $27.90. Bookings essential.
10am: Tea With the Stars (also 2pm). Morning or afternoon tea and a scone and a visit to the stars at the Holt Planetarium, Chambers St, Napier. $10.
10am: Quake Tour of Hastings City. Earthquake historian and author Michael Fowler takes a guided tour around a central part of Hastings City. Tours depart from the Hastings i-Site in Russell Street. Tickets $15, including a souvenir 24-page book.
10am: Antique Fair. Antique dealers from throughout NZ, exhibiting and selling everything from Victorian to retro. Asher Hall, St Paul's Church, Tennyson St. Tickets $5.
10am: National Tobacco Company Building. Explore what is arguably New Zealand's most famous building, now restored, even to its original name. Art Deco Trust guides in attendance. Gold-coin donation. Bridge St, Ahuriri, Napier.
10am: Flying Down To Deco. A rare chance to see WW2 and vintage aircraft on static display. Hawke's Bay Airport - entry through main airfield entrance off SH2. Gold-coin donation.
10am: (also 2pm) Traction Trundle (free event). The rattle of the machinery and the smell of coal smoke. Take a ride with Wayne Clark on his traction engine. Marine Parade by the Sound Shell, Napier.
10.30am: Saturday Street Party (free event) . Party time in Emerson Street with the Hawke's Bay Jazz Club, local singers and entertainers as well as old cars and motorbikes.
10.30am: Deco Dawdle Tour. Guided walk and coach tour of Napier's unique historic areas, each with their own stories and heritage treasures. Tours depart Municipal Theatre, Tennyson St, Napier. Tickets $30. Bookings essential.
10.30am: Marquee Munch (new event) . A hearty casual brunch with tea and coffee under a great marquee with jazz band accompaniment. Memorial Square (opposite Art Deco Trust). Tickets $35.
11am: Jitterbug Dance Lessons (sold out).
11am: Art Deco Food Court. Choose from a selection of refreshments available from the white mini marquees. Marine Parade, adjacent to the Sound Shell.
11am: Guided Art Deco Hastings Walk and Opera House Tour. Tours of Hastings' heritage Art Deco, Spanish Mission and Striped Classical buildings, and the stunning Hawke's Bay Opera House. Depart from the Hastings i-Site in Russell Street. $20.
11.30am: Music Alive (free event). Live music on the City Stage, Heretaunga St, Hastings.
Noon: Chuff and Burble (free event) . A display of stationary vintage engines on the foreshore by the Sound Shell on Marine Parade, Napier.
12.15pm: Those Magnificent Men (free event) . Watch the skies over Napier as aircraft swoop and turn. RNZAF Red Checkers, the Warbirds Display Team and others. Best view from the Sound Shell.
12.30pm: Automobilia - Vintage Car Display (free to view). Watch amazing autos sweep up Emerson St from Clive Square to Marine Parade, finishing at the Sound Shell for Show and Shine.
1pm: Take a Dekko at Art Deco (free event). Art exhibition by Hawke's Bay artists, at The Napier Club, Herschell St.
1.30pm: Once Were Wild Ones (free event). Gasp as the Wild Bunch of the '20s and '30s roar through Emerson St on vintage motorcycles.
1.30pm: Sound Shell Show and Shine (free to view). Marvellous vintage cars, spectacular costumes and fine jazz on the Sound Shell stage.
1.45pm: Salute to the Services (free to view). A special ceremony where service medals will be presented. This will include representation from a variety of the NZ Armed Services.
2pm: Art Deco Guided Walk. The guides bring Napier's Deco delights to life during a wander through the world-famous city centre. The one-hour walk begins at the i-Site, Marine Parade. Tickets $21.
2pm: Sea and Scones. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea cruise aboard the HB Wine Country Cat, and see the Art Deco city from a different perspective. Cruises depart West Quay, Ahuriri. Bookings essential. Tickets $40.
2.30pm: Costumes and Coiffure Competition (free event). A glorious glimpse of glitz and everybody's invited to participate. Enter at the Art Deco Weekend gazebo at the back of the Sound Shell.
2.30pm: Celtic Connection Concert. Enjoy a toe-tapping afternoon of song, dance - and a cuppa and nibbles - with the Drones and Sticks Pipe Band. St Paul's Church, Tennyson St. Tickets $26.
4pm: Bathing Belles (free event). Bewilderingly beautiful bathers in a torrent of ticklish togs! Prizes awarded for the best 1930s Beau and Belle, and for the craziest outfit. Sound Shell, Marine Parade, Napier.
5.30pm: Alfresco Munch. Dress in your Deco best and enjoy a barbecue meal on the veranda of the elegant Hawke's Bay Club, Browning St, Napier. Tickets $40.
6pm: Cafe Crawl De Luxe. Trip the light fantastic at the Twilight Toe Tap as you stroll between Napier's top Deco dining locations on this hosted progressive dinner. Not BYO - full bar service available at the restaurants. Deco dress obligatory. Meet at the War Memorial Conference Centre, Marine Parade. Tickets $80.
6pm: Caruso Cuisine (sold out).
6.15pm: Charleston at Brookers. A night of dance, bubbles and dinner. Buses to and from the Napier Municipal Theatre to Brookfields Winery. Tickets $75.
6.30pm: Twilight Toe Tap (free event). Dance to live jazz in Emerson Street.
6.30pm: Catamaran Capers. Cruise through the twilight and enjoy a smorgasbord dinner aboard the Hawke's Bay Wine Country Cat. Cruises depart West Quay, Ahuriri. Tickets $65.
7pm: Captain's Table. Captain H De La Cour Travers invites you to dine on traditional fare from the Golden Age of the Great Cruise Liners. Seven-course meal. At The Tennyson, Clive Square East, Napier. Tickets $107.
7pm: Depression Dinner (sold out).
7pm: Around the World in 80 Minutes. Sharon Elizabeth and pianist Paul Lewis take you on a whirlwind musical world tour aboard cruise ship "Imagination". A sumptuous evening of popular 1920-30s songs and grand opera, with dinner. Tabard Theatre, Coronation St, Napier. Tickets $58.
7.30pm: Gatsby's Decodent Affair. An evening of delights, decadence and roaring excitement with canapés, cocktails and an extravagant continuous supper. Dance to the Ragtime Band and try your luck in the secret hideaway. The Old Church Restaurant, Meeanee Rd, Napier. Optional free shuttle bus departs Napier Municipal Theatre at 7.15pm and returns at 12.30pm. Tickets $80.
7.30pm: Radio and Rhythm. Dance to the sweet sounds of a 1930s-style dance band, dine in Art Deco elegance and enjoy a programme from an old-style live Radio Show. The Ballroom, Napier Cosmopolitan Club. Tickets $85.
7.30pm: Silver Slipper Ball. Foxtrot and quickstep to the sounds of the big bands of the 30s, featuring the splendid Hawke's Bay Jazz Club Big Band. Formal Art Deco dress is compulsory for this signature event. War Memorial Centre, Marine Parade, Napier. Tickets $90.
7.30pm: Comedy Capers (sold out).
7.30pm: From Mansfield to Maud (sold out).
9pm: Skybeam (free event). See the night sky come to life with Wayne and Jason and their Skybeam HB Team's WW2 searchlight. Sound Shell, Marine Parade, Napier.
9.30pm: Saturday Night at the Sound Shell (free event) . A rousing conclusion to the Twilight Toe Tap. The Royal NZ Navy Band performs on the Sound Shell stage.
10.30pm: Late Night Libation. Stroll down to the Hawke's Bay Club for a late night libation to send you home with a glow. The first drink is included in the ticket. Tickets $15.
