A business game touring the country was hit with participants recently at the BNZ Partners Centre in Hastings (pictured).

The Icehouse and BNZ joined forces to create Gamechanger, which on Thursday pitted teams against each other to make decisions for a fictional blueberry jam-making business over two years.

Strategic decisions - few of them easy - had later repercussions and the winner was the group with the most equity.

BNZ Senior Partner Hawke's Bay Phil Teague said the aim of the game was to encourage small-to-medium-sized businesses to get stronger, more ambitious and develop deeper networks.
