While he is focusing on the winter season at this stage Bueno, 26, said if he could secure a contract with a National League team for the summer he would consider staying on.
"It would be a good opportunity to play more football while I learn more English at the same time," he added.
The Blues made a poor start and trailed 1-0 after five minutes.
"We didn't go out an apply enough pressure. But after 20 minutes we did that and we managed to give ourselves a platform to retain possession and score goals," Blues head coach Bill Robertson explained.
"Once again it was another good collective team performance where we worked hard in and out of possession."
Left back Liam Schofield scored the equaliser for the Blues in the first half before right winger Wesley Cain gave the hosts a 2-1 lead. Bueno, who scored two goals in the previous weekend's 6-0 Chatham Cup first round win against North End of Palmerston North, scored the next two to give Rovers a 4-1 lead at halftime.
Lower Hutt closed the gap with their second goal 10 minutes into the second half. During the final few minutes Rovers forward Patryk Misik scored the final goal of the match.
Robertson's lads remain top of the table with seven wins and a loss and take on Wairarapa United in Masterton on Saturday.
Building King Havelock North Wanderers recorded their second win in the competition, beating Wellington Olympic 2-1 at Wakefield Park in the capital on Saturday.
"That win was massive for us. That's a tough place to go to and pick up three points," Wanderers player-coach Chris Greatholder said.
Olympic scored the first goal in the 20th minute. Wanderers captain and centre midfielder Ethan Dent scored the equaliser with a header in the 35th minute.
The score remained 1-all until striker Gagame Feni scored the winner in the 75th minute after some classy counter attacking play from the visitors.
"We had to weather a really late storm from Olympic and defended superbly. It was our best defensive effort of the season," Greatholder said.
Centre back Kurtis Mayney, who returned to the team as a replacement for the injured Campbell Whitworth after three weeks in the club's Premiership team, impressed with his defensive work.
Seventeen-year-old Havelock North High School student Liam Shackleton, who played as a wide forward, got the Wanderers player-of-the-match award. Wanderers have two wins and six losses after playing five of their first eight matches on the road.
Their next four games, including Sunday's against Western Suburbs, will be on home turf at Guthrie Park.
