Hawke's Bay resident Fleur Verhoeven has made it to the final round of The Bachelor New Zealand.

In last night's episode, each of the three remaining women spent time alone with bachelor Jordan Mauger in his home region of Canterbury.

For Fleur, this began with a date in Akaroa, where she and Jordan donned wetsuits and went swimming with dolphins.

"Sharing this experience together is a nice feeling that I could get used to," Verhoeven said.

"My feelings are getting very strong - it feels very real, very right."

Afterwards, the pair went to Annandale Homestead on the Banks Peninsula, where they cooked dinner together. It was something Verhoeven said she could see the two doing together for many years to come.

"When you know, you know," she said.

While relaxing outside, in front of a fire, Mauger asked Verhoeven whether she wanted to stay at the homestead overnight with him.

He said he was hoping she would want to spend time with him away from the cameras.

Verhoeven said: "I want to spend as much time with Jordan as possible ... I would be crazy to turn down a whole evening with him.

"I do have very strong feelings for him and they have become a lot stronger over the last couple of days, weeks ... and they continue to grow. I could see myself falling in love with him, definitely."

The season's final official rose ceremony was held at Riccarton House, with Verhoeven and Naz Khanjani receiving roses and Erin Higgins being eliminated.
