Fire crews are attending a house fire on Marine Parade.

Fire crews are battling a house fire in Napier.

Fire and Emergency got three calls about a house on fire in Marine Parade just before 5am.

Central communications shift manager Jan Wills says four fire trucks are there.

She says firefighters are carrying out an offensive attack from outside the 30 by 20 metre house and protecting neighbouring properties.

Jan Wills says there's a property on either side and one of them is quite close.

She says crews are making sure the fire isn't spreading.

Jan Wills says there are no reports of anyone inside or any injuries at this stage.
