A Pacific/Asian fusion four-course dinner was the focus of the evening last night, at Deliciosa's 'Be more Pacific' F.A.W.C! event.

About 50 guests were taken around the Pacific Rim during the duration of the menu.

Restaurant Owner, Sarah Watson said it included "Peruvian, French, Japanese and Vietnamese elements".

F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic's 2017 Summer Series continued last night, with two events, including 'City of Gold with Vegabond Jack's' at the Globe Theatrette.

F.A.W.C! organiser and Hawke's Bay Tourism general manager Annie Dundas said it "had been fantastic" and the feedback they had been receiving was very positive.

"We are very blessed to have gorgeous, sunny weather."

Almost all the events that had taken place since the launch on Friday were sold out, except for a few tickets left over, Ms Dundas said.

She said there were still tickets left for a handful of events and a select number could be found on 'F.A.W.C! Marketplace' - where people could buy and sell tickets to otherwise sold out events.

"If you don't want to miss out, jump on board."

Among this week's many events is 'Dirt Candy' at St George's Restaurant, that features a vegetable orientated menu.

Although sold out, other events tomorrow include 'The Rare Beer Club' at Brave Brewing and Trinity Hill's 'Paying homage to a legendary wine'.

On Thursday, the 'Hastings City Night Market Pacifica Extravaganza', will see the CBD mall will come alive with amazing sights, smells and enticing street food.

Also on Thursday night, 'Wild times in the valley' at Linden Estate Winery, is set to be a "night to remember."

Owner of Valley D'vine, Greg Miller, said preparation for the event on Thursday was "ticking along nicely."

"Myself, winemaker Trevor Shepherd and Zeelandt Brewery are ready to go."

Guests can expect canapes on arrival, along with their latest wines before gathering in the winery for a gourmet wild food BBQ buffet-style meal.
