Fire services have been called to Brogden St, Otane. PHOTO/File

Emergency services have been called to an address in Otane to treat two people who have suffered burns.

A Fire service spokesman said they were not sure what the cause was at this stage, but they had heard reports of a gas cylinder being involved.

A St Johns ambulance was sent to the scene on Brogden St, and requested a Fire appliance for assistance.

As the incident occurred at a private address, St Johns could not comment.
