Hawke's Bay Today has relaunched its website here at www.hbtoday.co.nz with a focus on helping readers connect with the local community and sharing stories that matter to them.

The relaunched site continues the present focus of providing the Hawke's Bay community with the best local news coverage but also offers increased functionality and sections.

The home page will continue to deliver the best local stories, photos, videos, comments from readers as well as national news.

A new "Things To Do" section will feature local events and readers are able to directly place a local event to spread the word to the community.

Simply login to the site (or register first if you haven't already) and add all the details. Your Community, with your help, will become the hub of the community. Post to the Noticeboard about anything you feel the wider community needs to know - whether it is the school fair, a local concert, sporting event or so on and so forth. All can be listed for free.

In the new "Your Community" section you will find all things local plus you can share stories and opinions in the "Your Story" section.

The "Marketplace" feature across the bottom of all pages enhances the benefits to local advertisers.

The Motoring section features the latest news, listings, reviews, photo galleries, road tests and even a sneak peak at future models.

Our Property section features local properties for sale as well as the best advice covering everything from borrowing to saving and investing.

There are also easy links to local, regional news, sport, business, rural, life and entertainment. The new "Life" section is the home of gardening, fashion, recipes, travel and more.

If you haven't visited our website yet, join the up-to 40,000 people who access it each week and read up to 200,000 pages.

We've also upgraded our mobile phone site so you can check out the latest Hawke's Bay news while you are on the go. And don't forget you can also follow Hawke's Bay Today on Twitter at: http://twitter.com/HawkesBayToday or on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/HawkesBayToday

We hope you will enjoy your new website. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please share it with us at www.hbtoday.co.nz
