A Dannevirke man has died after going missing while diving with friends on Saturday at Akitio Beach, east of Pongaroa in the Tararua District.
He was Malcolm Bruce Cameron, 37.
It is understood three men were free-diving together when the man went missing, according to Police Central communications.
