The Napier Creative Communities Scheme committee is looking for young members with an interest in the arts - preferably people who are Pacific, Asian or migrants.
There are four vacancies on the committee, currently chaired by councillor Maxine Boag.
"We are keen to broaden the committee's membership base, so are particularly interested
in attracting more diverse members," administrator Belinda McLeod said.
The committee, supported by Napier City Council, hands out grants of more than $40,000 a year to applicants who create and present diverse opportunities for arts activities in the Napier area.
The committee meets about four times a year, during the day, to allocate two lots of funding.
