If you're wondering what you are going to do for your work function this year, or just want an entertaining night out, Anglican Care Waiapu Pakeke Centre has just the solution.

It's bringing self-proclaimed "crazy Mumma" Suzie Johnson and her hilarious one-woman show, What to Wear & Not to Wear, to Waipukurau next month.

Her politically-incorrect, two-hour show is described as a funny, raw look at the lighter side of fashion and personal development.

Suzie is a mother of five children under 10, a successful business owner, artist, fashionista and comedian.

From opening a shop in Shannon in 2007 to sell her original hand-painted canvas and jewellery, Suzie now has three shops in Shannon, three in Woodville and a sewing factory and retail outlet in Napier.

Her shops include Oosh Giftware, Oosh La La (Suzie's own funky, functional clothing line) and For Frocks Sake.

Her show, however, is not just about clothes - it's inspirational, motivational and self-confidence-building.

There will be a complimentary drink on arrival, raffles, spot prizes, complimentary supper and a mini Oosh store will be there on the night. Funds raised from the event will go to the Pakeke Centre in Waipukurau, which supports older people to live independently by offering social interaction and companionship.
