Child hit by car on Marine Parade

A child has moderate injuries after being hit by a car on Marine Parade.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Albion St just before midday.

A police spokeswoman said a boy had been injured. They were questioning witnesses.

A St John's Ambulance spokeswoman said an ambulance took a patient to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
