Officials are expecting a big influx of ticket sales for Friday's semifinal ITM Cup match between Hawke's Bay and Northland today, as prices have been slashed by 50 per cent.

Hawke's Bay Rugby Union commercial manager Jay Campbell said tickets to the game, which could be the last chance to see the Magpies play at Napier's McLean Park this year, will go on sale to the general public at 9am today, after a preferential period for sponsors and season members ended last night.

Ticket prices have been reduced 50 per cent to $17.50, with $12.50 and $7.50 tickets also available in the TicketDirect stand. Tickets can be bought from Hawke's Bay Rugby Union at McLean Park, Latham St, Napier, or ticketdirect.co.nz, or by phoning 0800 224 224.
