Chance to see chef Annabel in Bay stores

Annabel Langbein will be signing copies of her new book, The Free Range Cook Through the Seasons, at Paper Plus in both Taradale and Napier on Friday.

The visit to Hawke's Bay is part of her New Zealand tour, celebrating the launch of her book and TV series.

Paper Plus Group marketing manager Lyle Hastings said it was a "unique opportunity for fans to meet Annabel in person, ask questions and get a copy of the special book signed".

The book contains more than 200 new recipes all the dishes from the TV series and many more as well as dozens of Annabel's trademark kitchen and garden tips and tricks, plus substitution suggestions that allow the recipes to be made with whatever fruit or vegetables are in season.

"Through the Seasons celebrates nature's growing cycles and the rhythm of a year," Annabel said.

"There's a real freedom in the idea of 'cooking the landscape'."
