Lime Rock Winery is one of three CHB cellar doors that will be open on Saturday.

This Saturday three Central Hawke's Bay wineries will take part in New Zealand's first National Cellar Door Day.

Pukeora, Junction and Lime Rock will be showcasing their wines and there will be bargains and ideas for Christmas gifts.

Rosie Butler from Lime Rock Winery said it was an exciting concept and a great chance for CHB residents to "get to know their local".

"It's an opportunity to taste and try, to take advantage of the day's specials and maybe stock up for Christmas. Bring along your friends, make a day of it and see what CHB has to offer when it comes to superb wines and hospitality."

You can find Lime Rock Winery on Tikokino Rd, Waipawa. Pukeora Estate is on Pukeora Scenic Drive in Waipukurau and Junction Wines is on State Highway 2 just south of Takapau.
