Emma Twigg is a world-class rower from Hawke's Bay, who attended Napier Girls' High School. She started rowing in 2001 and has since been a Junior World Champion, U23 World Champion, a Beijing Olympian and a gold medal receiver at the W1x World Cup lll. Miss Twigg is taking a year out of the rowing competition, as she is over in Europe completing the prestigious FIFA Masters post-graduate course.

What is your favourite holiday destination:

My ultimate holiday would be somewhere with my bike, my friends and some epic mountains to climb, mixed with a nice amount of relaxation and some adventure.

What do you like reading?

Autobiographies - I love an inspirational story of people pushing the limits.
