A person required medical treatment after a car smashed through the side of Dannevirke's McDonald's Restaurant last night.
The car crashed into the building, on High Street, the main SH2 route through the town, at about 7.30pm.
An ambulance was initially called to the smash and police said a personwas taken away for treatment.
A Dannevirke McDonald's staff member said the restaurant was making no comment to media about the incident. Further details were not available last night.
