Police, firefighters and St John Ambulance medics responded to a car hitting a bank on a rural highway between Central Hawke's Bay and Hastings on Monday afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said they were called to the crash on State Highway 50, between Creek Rd and Glencoe Station Rd, about 4.20pm.
One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
