The CHB A&P Show last weekend benefited from fine weather, which brought out the crowds and kept the events flowing thick and fast.

The Backpaddock Lakes wakeboarding held for the first time this year was a big draw, with the wakeboarding pool ringed with bystanders throughout the day.

Show president Chris Menzies said numbers were up on last year, but the crowds still had plenty of room to move due to the expansion of the Top Team, wakeboarding and race car displays into one of the playing fields on Russell Park.

Hawke's Bay Today photographer Warren Buckland was there to capture the action.
