Advertorial
The latest and certainly the biggest building constructed in Dannevirke in many years was formally opened on Thursday, September 24 before a large group of invited guests comprising of customers, truck drivers, contractors and other company staff.

It was the opening of the new Ballance Consignment Store in Millers Rd, built and owned by Buckeridge Transport on behalf of Ballance Agri-Nutrients which is in partnership.

In his address to the crowd Ballance national sales manager Andrew Saunders said it was fantastic after a five-year journey to be in a brand new purpose-built facility saying efficient consignment stores like Dannevirke form a central part of Ballance's business as well as providing a valuable connection point for its local customers.

He said they were excited to be partnering with Buckeridge Transport knowing its management Simon and Danielle care deeply about the customer like his company does. He said the new consignment shed provides much needed infrastructure so Ballance can get the product out the door and onto the farm as efficiently as possible all year round.

■ geo-spatial software MitAgator to minimise environmental risk,

■ SurePhos an environmentally sustainable phosphate fertiliser,

In reply Simon Buckeridge welcomed the partnership and thanked all the contractors who put up the store so quickly, given the Covid-19 interruption.

With that Danielle, Simon and daughter Anaya cut the ribbon declaring the store open for business permitting the crowd bolstered by late arrivals from the Woodville races to partake of the hospitality until late.
