The biggest event in Hawke's Bay Racecourse's calendar is run tomorrow , and tickets are flying out the door.
Thousands will descend on Hawke's Bay Racecourse to watch the Livamol Classic, and Hawke's Bay Racing CEO Andrew Castles warns punters to pre-purchase their tickets online.
There are still a few general admission tickets left, but all the hospitality tickets, which include extras ranging from access to a garden party to private booths, have all sold out.
"All of our pre-sold hospitality options are sold out, and have been for the best part of two weeks, which is wonderful," Castles said.
"As far as general admission sales go, we've sold a huge number of these."
The club would review how many general admission tickets would be available on the day.
"It might well be we have a very limited number of those available on the day."
He said an enormous amount of work goes into preparing the Livamol.
"The amount of canvass up is a huge undertaking to both get it up and then fit it out."
"The logistics of an operation like this are huge."
Everything was looking on track to be completed however.
"Things are coming together very well, the teams which are out and about are reporting they are probably ahead of where they need to be."
In terms of the horses, Savvy Coup is the favourite to win on the day.
"She's up from the South Island, she's trained in Christchurch by the father and son combination of Michael and Matthew Pitman."
"She's a $2.10 favourite to win the Livamol Classic, she's certainly expected to be very hard to beat."
He said given limited parking they recommend taking buses which run from the information centres in Napier and Havelock North, or being dropped off at the races.
After that, the most important thing is to enjoy the day.
"Obviously have a great day out but to act responsibly."
