A car with three occupants has rolled near the small settlement of Putorino in northern Hawke's Bay.

The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was called to the single vehicle crash after the car rolled near Willow Flat Rd.

The rescue helicopter reported all three occupants managed to extricate themselves from the car and two were uninjured while one pregnant female sustained moderate injuries.

A police spokesperson attended the scene after being alerted to the incident at 4.20pm and the Serious Crash Unit would be attending tomorrow.

A St John road ambulance from Wairoa was at the scene and initially treated the injured pregnant woman before the rescue helicopter was called to transport her to the Hawke's Bay Hospital for further treatment.
