The Armed Offenders Squad helped with the arrest of a 32-year-old man in Westshore on Thursday.

The arrest, about 12pm, was in relation to a family harm incident.

A police spokesperson confirmed AOS was in attendance as a precaution, describing it as a "fairly standard" occurrence.

He was taken into custody without incident, the spokesperson said.
